Things to do in the HOT weather...hmmm

Too hot for this little hummer, I sprayed him with cool water and got him some nectar,he flew off about 1/2 hr later

web worms working their way up the walnut tree.....I killed them all...LOL

my garden couldn't take the heat,I got to eat 1 cucumber on my birthday...woo hoo

we haven't had any rain in so long there are cracks all through the yard 

more cracks.....our total rain fall for the YEAR is 2.3 inches, we are like 15-20 inches behind..yikes

me and Deweys new bird feeder....I love,love,love it 

HOT--HOT--HOT

The temps have been in the 100 for over 2 weeks now and the heat index around 109-113...yuk.this was about 2 in the afternoon...frigin HOT..

Forth of July week 2011

My first cucumber,ate it on my birthday...yippie

poor little fella,I gave him some humming bird food and about 10 min he flew off,must have been too hot for him

This is the fireworks that Libbi and Bret shot off for my birthday and sang,that was on  6-29-11
